davern
What is davern?
davern lets you stake a pump.fun coin itself — not an LP position — into a per-coin vault and earn that coin's real pump.fun creator fees, paid out in . Each stakeable coin has its own vault, and every staker in that vault shares the creator fees the coin generates.
How staking works
The flow is short:
- Stake the coin. You deposit the pump.fun coin into its vault. Your tokens move into a program-controlled escrow.
- Earn its creator fees in .Trading on the coin accrues pump.fun creator fees. A configurable share of those fees routes to the vault's reward account.
- Rewards are pro-rata by weight. Each staker earns a share of the vault proportional to their share of the vault's total stake weight.
- Rewards stream in. Newly arrived fees are not credited instantly — they accrue continuously over a drip window (see below).
Your share weight is defined as: weight = staked amount × lock multiplier. With no lock, the multiplier is 1.0x, so weight is simply your staked amount.
Rewards & streaming
Rewards are distributed pro-rata by your share of the vault's total stake weight. The more weight you hold relative to everyone else, the larger your slice of the incoming .
Fees do not land in your account the instant they arrive. Instead they stream over a drip window: newly arrived fees accrue continuously across that window rather than being credited in a single block.
You can claim accrued rewards at any time, and claiming does not require unstaking. Your stake keeps earning while your claimed goes to your wallet.
Lock multipliers
Locks are optional and configured per vault. Locking your stake for a longer duration grants a higher multiplier, which increases your weight and therefore your share of rewards:
weight = staked amount × lock multiplier
Lock tiers are defined per vault. If a vault has no lock tiers configured, everyone stakes at the same 1.0x multiplier and weight is just the staked amount. Where locks exist, a longer commitment earns a larger share for the same number of tokens.
Unstaking & cooldown
You can unstake at any time, subject to two conditions:
- Any optional lock you chose. If you locked your stake for a tier, it must reach the end of that lock before it can be withdrawn.
- A short unstake cooldown. A brief cooldown applies on withdrawal.
Unstaking and claiming are independent: you can claim your accrued without unstaking, and you can unstake without forfeiting rewards you have already accrued.
Fees & safety
How fees get to the vault.pump.fun coins accrue creator fees from trading. A davern vault opts the coin into pump.fun's fee-sharing so that creator fees route to the vault's reward account — a program-owned account. A permissionless keeper periodically distributes the accrued creator fees into the vault and “syncs” them into the reward stream.
Protocol fee. A small protocol fee may be skimmed from inflowing fees. It is configurable and capped at 10%.
Your tokens stay yours. Staked tokens are held in a program-controlled escrow, and only you can unstake them.

For coin creators
If you launched a pump.fun coin, you can make it stakeable by creating a vault and routing a share of your pump.fun creator fees to it. Holders who stake then earn real from the coin's trading activity.
This gives holders a concrete reason to hold and stake — it aligns the community around the coin — while you keep the rest of your creator fees. You choose the share that flows to the vault, and lock tiers (if any) for stakers.
FAQ
Is there impermanent loss?
No. You stake the token itself, not a liquidity position. Nothing is paired or sold, so there is no impermanent loss.
Can I lose my tokens?
Your staked tokens sit in a program-controlled escrow that only you can unstake. Rewards are paid in from the vault's reward account and never touch your principal.
What am I paid in?
. Rewards are the coin's real pump.fun creator fees, routed to the vault and distributed to stakers in .
When do rewards arrive?
Fees accrue continuously over a drip window once a keeper syncs them into the reward stream. You can claim your accrued at any time without unstaking.
Do I have to lock my stake?
No. Locks are optional and per-vault. Locking raises your multiplier (and your share of rewards); without a lock you stake at 1.0x and can unstake after the short cooldown.
Can I unstake whenever I want?
Yes — subject to any optional lock you chose and a short unstake cooldown. Claiming rewards is separate and never requires unstaking.
